Commercial electrical services are quoted from the building, not from a price list. Two restaurants of the same square footage can differ by thousands of dollars depending on what the panel can already carry, how far the runs are from the service, and whether the ceiling is open or has to be opened. So the first visit is a walk-through: we look at the existing service, the panel capacity, the conduit paths, and what the local inspector will want to see.
From there you get a written estimate that separates materials, labor, and anything that depends on a condition we cannot see yet. If a wall has to come open to know for certain, we say so rather than burying a contingency in the total. Estimates are free and carry no obligation.
Scheduling is part of the quote as well. Commercial electrical services for an operating business usually have to happen around trading hours, and a build-out has a hard opening date with several trades stacked behind it. We tell you up front which portions need power shut down, how long that will take, and where the inspection sits in the sequence. All of our work is wired to the current California Electrical Code, which is adapted from the National Electrical Code published by the National Fire Protection Association.

On remodels we also deal with whatever the previous operator left behind, which is frequently the longest part of the job.
